Is your life to eat and drink

Is it just to buy and sell

Is it to get worldly gain

Is it for ephemerals

Sure you’ve got lots more than these

Sure so many goals to meet

Sure on earth not just to roam

Sure your time here not to waste

Some live just for sin and self

Some are not of heaven sure

Some in death regret their lives

Some leave fulfilled and with joy

Don’t through life carelessly go

Don’t forget why you are here

Don’t fall into satan’s trap

Don’t live for the world at all

Live your life the Lord to please

Live according to His word

Live denying self and sin

Live glorifying the Lord

Life here is so brief my friend

Life here will soon pass away

Life with all it has to give

Life with all its attractions

One day this life we’ll all leave

One day before God we’ll stand

One day our accounts we’ll give

One day ahead one day sure

May we live our lives fulfilled

May we stand in Christ complete

May we conquerors be at last

May we stand without regrets
