HOW ARE YOU WITH GOD?

Sit a while and reason
Dear soul, tell yourself the truth
How are you with God
Where are you really headed

Busy here and there
Jumping up and down
Activity, activity, activity
Of what worth before God

How is your life dear one
Spiritually dead or alive
Your light bright or dim
What category do you belong

Foolish virgin or wise
You’re an active church member, yes I know
Worker, leader, elder etc
But who are you before God

A tare or a wheat
For the flames or the barn
A lukewarm dead soul
Or a fiery burning one

Think on these things my brother
Assume not at all my sister
Be sure of your claims, don’t assume
Ensure your Christian experiences are current today
Lest it be then too late to make amends
