GOD HAS A BOOK

God has a book, it’s called the book of life

Where He does write, the names of children His

God has a book, for those who’re saved by grace

For those who’re bought, by Jesus precious blood

God has a book, for those who holy live

For those who’re free, from sin and all its stains

God has a book, that’s for the Bride of Christ

The book of life, for those in garments white

God has a book, for those who overcome

For those who win, the battle against sin

God has a book, for those who’re not defiled

Friend are you sure, your name is in that book

If you’re in sin, and you do not repent

Your name is not, in God’s great book of life

Know there are books, for those who’re lost in sin

For those who’re bound by sins and satan’s chain

Eternal death, real shame and agony

For those whose names are missing in Heaven

Where is your name, be sure before you die

For after death, you no more can decide

God has a book, its called the book of life
